The Vintage Air Virtual group was established to allow fellow simmers the pleasure of flying in the 1930s and 1940s using vintage aircraft, under vintage airlines names, with real world destinations, and historic schedules and rate structures. Our members will be able to fly many different vintage aircraft (mostly radial engine) for both charter and airlines. The focus is to fly these vintage aircraft with minimal to no current navigation equipment such as GPS, but certainly our pilots are welcome to do so....but we are vintage after all. We are continuing to build our airlines fleets and timetables.
The intent is that this group be easy going, but have members that truly understand being a pilot in these vintage aircraft. Some of our aircraft are very in depth, others have been modified to resemble the characteristics of the real world counterpart. You can take it as far as you like too with vintage realism or more modern conveniences.
So climb aboard and begin enjoying the magic of vintage aircraft flight!!!
